Frequently Asked Questions
What domains does the monitor track?
Our monitor tracks over 4 million premium .com domains, including all 1-4 character short domains and keyword premium domains. Changes are detected and logged hourly, 24/7. You can also explore these domains using our Active Domain Search or check availability across multiple TLDs with Bulk TLD Check.
What types of changes are detected?
We detect four types of domain status changes:
- Domain Transfer — Domain moved to a new registrar. Use WHOIS Lookup to verify the current registrar.
- Domain Expired (Dropped) — Domain has entered the expiration phase. Browse more dropping domains in our Expired Domains search.
- New Register — Domain was recently registered. See all newly registered domains in New Domains.
- Nameserver Change — Domain's DNS or hosting was updated. Run a DNS Check to see current records.
How often is the data updated?
Our system scans every hour and displays aggregated changes from the last 24 hours. You are always viewing the latest tracking cycle data. For longer-term patterns, check out Keyword Trends and TLD Trends.
What does "Registered TLDs" mean?
This shows how many other top-level domains (.com, .net, .org, etc.) share the same prefix. A higher number generally indicates a more valuable keyword. Use TLD Availability Search to see exactly which TLDs are taken or available for any keyword.
How many results can I view?

- Premium — Up to 4,000 results, 2,000 searches per day
